I'm currently in Hoi An after a train trip that was me, MJ and 2 other locals....wasn't too bad apart from the one guy sounded like a chopper when he slept. In any case Hoi An is a pretty small place and it def has its charm. It's known for tailored clothes and I've just been shopping around buying a suit, some pants and some shirts.
There was this strange moment when I was in this small shop with lots of other people around in the shop and walking past and the tailor asked me to take my shirt off (only moments ago this guy I was talking to told me he was gay) and he continued to measure me up right there...no need for a back room!!
Then when I went back there later that day I had to try the pants on again and had to do this in front of everyone again...He was checking out my pants and he proceeded to slap my ass and said it was good!!! I thought it was quite funny cause he is an eccentric little guy. MJ was there too and I was joking with the other girl there who was in the room too about getting changed in front of her and being a little shy and she said "dont worry you have girlfriend and I only look with 1 eye if you have no girlfriend I look with both eyes"...hahhaha man that was funny too.
(Tailor also asked me if The Doctor was cheeky and naughty - I said yes, all the time - Tailor spanked The Doctor. The Doctor said I was lying - Tailor spanked me. The Doctor said he didn't like material Tailor had chosen - Tailor spanked The Doctor again. And so it went on...)
We eventually had a day of sunshine so headed out to Cau Dai beach to laze around on sun beds and chill out. After riding the 10 minutes or so out there on the back of a moto scooter The Doctor had hired and was in control of, I definately needed to relax. He seemed to insist on trying to drag race all the locals Grease Lightning style. As we nestled back into our lounges to absorb the peacefulness, cries were heard coming from the water, a large crowd gathered to watch the kafuffle and minutes later we bear witness to a limp body being carried up on to the beach by fellow holiday makers - no life guards here. Not the best way to start a relaxing day. (Don't worry, he recovered and is still alive. We did not enter the water to ensure we remained so ourselves.)
