Borsch is not just a regular meal; it is also one of Ukraine's national symbols. Unlike the rest of the world Ukrainians have a deep emotional, social, physical and in a way metaphysical attachment to soup. Borsch can easily replace a full meal, or any meal of the day. There is nothing better than to eat a big bowl of hot borsch. Borsch will warm up your body and soul, bringing much more optimism and positive energy into your life's challenges. It is nearly impossible to describe how to prepare borsch because there is no single "correct" way to actually cook borsch. The truth is that there is no single recipe of borsch. Ukrainian borsch can be cooked in a number of ways. I want to say that the "best" recipe of borsch basically does not exist .And of course my best borsch recipe comes from my childhood. This is the recipe of my granny and now I cook my borsch the way she used to cook it. And I (as any Ukrainian woman;)) am proud to say that my borsch is the best.
