I am cook and a traveller at heart. With an eternal desire for adventure highlighted by new experience's in foreign lands. Over the past 5 years I have spent 3 of them abroard and wont be back home for another year yet. My past adventures have taken me through Europe, Middle east, North & East Africa, USA, Thailand and currently over Canada. I love to write and plan to document the entire trip. Be gentle with me I am new to this blogging business??!!

 For the past year I have been travelling and working through Canada and now have found myself in Toronto, having a blast until i leave after New Years. Then heading south chasing 2 summers, travelling from Venezuela to Colombia the long way. Meeting up and travelling with my brother Marco and cousin Frankie, old travelling buddies, a plethora of beers, glorious amounts of local cuisine, natural and ancient mind blowing wonders, eye opening local cultures and more chicken buses than you can shake a stick at! The plan is to be on the road for 8 months in South America experiencing a much as possible!

 This is not a trip that I plan to change the world with, I am just enjoying the freedom that we have. We can go as we please in this modern world, much more accessible and open than past generations and it would be a shame not to take advantage of this. The option of a normal settled existence in the comfortable cotton wool of society, all of the possessions and responsibilities that go along with it. Exchanged for a liberating 70 litre backpack, the gift of knowing that at any moment, you can have all that you own on your back and be hitting the road. Free to experience as much about the world and yourself as you can. To the basic plan for the trip is to LIVE!
