My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Australia | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos
For almost the entirity of my short life, I've grown up with documentaries by National Geographic and the BBC, and as a consquence animals, travel and the perserverance and the patience needed to capture a unique story, have been a significantly large part of my life. And I want to continue to make these glorious aspects so. I've spent hundreds of hours each year for the passed 6 years photographing animals in the bush, and learning full well that patience is one of the best qualities a photographer must have. I've waited for hours watching and waiting for the perfect shot of lizards perching themselves in trees and kangaroos foraging.
To be chosen would mean an incredibly early leap in life for me; I've only just finished high school, but I've known what I want my career path to be, for several years, now. I want to be a photographer for National Geographic and present stories of some of the most unusual and beautiful places throughout the world.
