This image is of a residence apartment which is barely visible and completed covered with the Scaffolding to support the building and prevent it from collapsing. The Scaffolding's supporting the buildings is a very common scene in L'aquilla and you can hardly see a building without the Scaffolding.

L'Aquilla, a small city and the capital city of Abruzzo province located in central Italy between the Apennine mountain regions with a population of around 100,000 people. This was the epic center of the Natural Disaster Earthquake in April 2009. Visited this place in spring this year and was quite surprised and shocked to see the city which was hit by the earthquake very badly

This building is a government building for ministry of agriculture and you can see each and every pillar and column is being supported by a Scaffolding and the cracks can also be seen on the building and poor side is that there is very little improvements in restoration work even after 5 years of the earthquake. Many of the sites have been declared as not fit for living by archeological department.
