People Of The Nile Bridge

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Egypt | Monday, October 11, 2010 | 4 photos

photography is a lifestyle for me ,since my father gave me my first camera when i was 12, my friends and colleges knew me as "the guy with the camera"

i got so many cameras , i experienced negative films and digital cameras , but what i really experienced was to have the different eye and the different point of view of a photographer .
A Photographer in my opinion is a messenger of an idea , a very effective person when he/she has the right photo for the right idea, photography is a strong effective and amazing art and experience , it changes the world around us, and the most important , it changes you, shows you the way to the wisdom of seeing things as they meant to be seen .
I'm always seeking expanding my horizon and my knowledge of photography by any possible way and from any one, dreamed since i was little of living as a real world nomad and admired the life of people such as the great traveler Ibn Battuta and the great photographer and my role model in photography Omar/Thomas J. Abercrombie , i always wanted such a chance to start living this dream as hard and as fun as i think it will get , for such a dream , i'd give up any other life style.
my photos are about special kind of people that i like to call "People of the Bridge "
the Bridge in the Photos is Qasr El Nil Bridge across The Nile river , it's one of the oldest and most beautiful places in Cairo/Egypt , Egyptian people have been going to this bridge as a way to enjoy the Nile ,the bridge has a great old story as i learned among three years of going there, but what i learned more.. is the real stories about this Bridge that worth telling .. is the different stories of The People Of The bridge .
