Travel Scholarship Submission - We love the Farmers Market!

We live in Long Beach, CA. Clearly, we had to do a film about our town, Long Beach more specifically the local Farmers Market.
I (Amber) have a Degree in Film and have been making personal travel films since high school. I’ve worked on Hollywood film projects as a PA and puppeteer. A camera is an amazing tool that can capture emotion at a moment in time; paired with the right filmmaker, it can bring a resurgence of that emotion just by pressing play. I love putting travel and filmmaking together. It is my dream to be able to travel the world and document my experiences.
I (Art) am an event photographer and puppeteer, which has allowed me to travel some. I love photographing people hence why I’ve gravitated towards event photo and film. My love for filmmaking stems from my love of capturing people, showing how everyday life can be beautiful. I suppose my fascination is sort of an anthropological study through film.
Having this opportunity would be a great experience to help improve us through a mentorship in such an immersive and exciting environment. It would further our thirst for travel and teach us the skills needed to make others want to take our trips with us.
