My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My photography obsession began ten years ago. As my 14th birthday was looming I had my heart set on a Kodak CX4230 Easyshare camera. For a few weeks I was reformed from my typical teenager stroppiess. I cleaned, ironed and even offered foot massages. When my birthday arrived I was duly rewarded. I filled that 15mb internal memory over and over again.
Since then, my photography practice has gone through many stages and now I find myself focusing on engaging narratives. I find great satisfaction in taking pictures that tell a story about a place that I have visited or a person I have met.
Today, I’m a graphic designer working and living in Sydney, but photography remains my passion.
If I were granted this opportunity, I would dedicate the entirety of my energy (creative or otherwise) into making the best of my time with Jason Edwards. Ideally I would both refine my practice and learn new photographic techniques.
Most importantly, I would revel in the task of helping Jason capture the spirit of Greenland.
This opportunity is the CX4230 of my adult life. For it, I would massage a thousand feet, fresh from Greenland treks.
