Italy
I was lucky enough to travel to Italy with my cousin J, including Rome, Vatican City, Siena, Florence, Venice, Verona and Milan. We had the most amazing adventure together sight-seeing, travelling by train, staying in a variety of accomodation-our very own apartment in Rome, a hostel and rental rooms. We lived a daily diet of gelato, pizza and pasta. Although to be honest i was very disappointed by the quality of the pizza and pasta, assuming that such traditional dishes would be the most amazing in Italy. It was not until i travelled to Cinque Terre with my boyfriend M that i found that they can do it very well indeed! It seems you need to travel to the 'less touristy' spots to find the quality dining!
