I felt my interest in photography when I was in teenage. Though I did not have any camera that time, I was always keen to see good photos in newspaper to understand the story of an event just by seeing the photos. I always dreamed to take photos that can tell stories which are in my mind. Then when I had my first camera, I always tried to capture photos in a way that will describe that perfect moment and changes my vantage point to get the best view of a story. Eventually photography became my passion. I always try to learn from others. I believe I have the enthusiasm to learn photo journalism which will enable me to express the story of a moment, event or place in a better way. If I get selected for this scholarship, I will give my best effort to learn as much as possible and utilize every bits of my experience. Opportunity like this will provide me the inspiration to bring out the hidden stories and expressions with my photography skill. This learning opportunity will broaden my ideas, enhance my techniques. If I can get a opportunity to learn photo journalism, I will use the outcome to be a better storyteller through my photos. That is why I should be chosen for this program.
