These photos were taken in Newcastle, NSW. Upon moving there I at first found the city to be very down-trodden, I wasn't impressed at all. It wasn't until I started peeling back the layers of the city that I found it's incredible charm and culture. This project aims to share that feeling of finding something beautiful in a place you didn't expect to.
