The Men Of Melbourne
Australia | Sunday, June 16, 2013 | 4 photos
I've been photographing since senior high school, and have loved every moment of it since starting. I originally wanted to be a fighter pilot in Australia's Defence Force, but unfortunately found out i was colour blind during the process of becoming a cadet. My dreams of flying for Australia had come to a halt, and i had to gather my thoughts, and figure out what then to do with myself. Not long after i had decided to study studio arts at High School, and my photography journey began there. Although i had much discouragement due my colour blindness, and had always heard about how hard it would be, i pressed on anyway. Determined not to be stopped in my tracks a second time.
With practice, i began to develop my ability to use a camera. That practice, and ability, then afforded me the opportunity to develop new dreams and also to develop a sense of attitude and direction with my photography. Using a camera for me is about the physical adventure, and the people. I would often ride my push bike to a sunset, or a train into the City to photograph.
Limits are only imagined, i'm a colour blind photographer who's perfect for this amazing adventurous experience.
Thank You.
