My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

To learn is to grow. In 2007 I was a19 year old kid struggling with the path of my future like most young adults do. I Knew that the interest for photography was there but at the same time I had people in my ear telling me that I need a solid career, something that I can make steady money off of so I listened and took some classes geared toward psychology. I did that for 3 years. I was un happy with the way my life was going I felt unstructured I knew deep in my heart that photography was what I truly wanted to do. I didn't want to continue taking psychology classes knowing that my heart was not fully into it. I needed to be happy doing something that I love; when I wake up in the mornings and look out the windows and see the beautiful sun rise I say to my self what a wonderful picture that would make. 2010 I made the leap of faith to sign up at the Academy of art in San Francisco where I major in photography I am happy and at peace there. The chance to win the experience to Oman would be the beginning of a new Chapter in my life that I would get to learn grow and share with the world. There are many hidden stories in life, I just want the chance to unveil one of them.
