I live by the fact that you will never really be appreciative of what is out there unless you begin to appreciate what is in your own backyards. I have been out of the country once or twice and have enjoyed what I have seen, but it is more fulfilling to see what my country, the Philippines, can offer. My photographs somewhat depicts the parallelism of what is to appreciate in your own "backyard" and what is beyond it. These photographs depicts linear connectivity to what is within and what is beyond from where I am standing. These were taken in the Northern side of the country, Pagudpud and Vigan. That day, I was obsessed with capturing "connectivity", the endless stream of lines that seem to have no beginning nor end. My name is Anne, I love to travel and capture the moments and share them with the rest of the people who are willing to look within and beyond where they are standing.
