I am a dreamer. A lover of the light. An admirer of art and its ability to transform the mind of its viewer. I look forward to new experiences, being pushed out of my comfort zone, and soaking each moment in. I am a mover and a shaker. I follow my heart and I shoot for the stars. When I take photos, I’ve found that my best photographs present themselves to me before I snap the shot.

I hope with all that is in me that I will be selected for this once in a lifetime opportunity. I feel as if I have an eye for great photos and I feel as though photography is an extension of myself. I naturally aim to take the best photograph possible because I feel as if I need to convey what the image is making me feel. But I need guidance. I need critiques. And I want to learn as much as possible. Ultimately, I would like to become a travel photojournalist and an artist, a person whose words and photographs work together to relay compelling, inspiring stories.

If selected for this opportunity, I’ll try to make you laugh either with my terrible jokes or my occasional awkwardness, I’ll be up for adventure no matter how far off the beaten path it takes us, and I will give you my absolute best.
