Saving Iceland: Resistance to Industrial Development

On July 19th, 2008, Saving Iceland activists stopped work at the Century Aluminum construction site by chaining themselves to machinery in protest of the damage being done to the geothermal areas near Hveragerði, and the company’s human rights abuses abroad.
