My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I usually drop-by whenever there is a photo-exhibit in shopping centers and regularly look at the same in some of the photo galleries in the web. I am always awe-inspired by the great moments captured by these professional photographers hoping that one day I can do the same.

I got my first taste of recognition after a company-sponsored photo journalism seminar. I won our photo contest and I was ecstatic, not for the prize but for the positive comments I got from our instructor, an accomplished photo-journalist in our country. That was five years ago.

I love to take pictures, my family, my dog, and anything worth taking. I always bring my camera in every occasion like family gatherings, travel, and office activities. At the end of the day, I usually grin reviewing each moment captured. I got to ponder that I am blessed to have celebrated these event with family and friends. Photography has helped me appreciate life better.

It would be a dream come true to be trained with Jason, a self-taught and accomplished photographer. I always wanted to learn from someone who is passionate with their work, learn from them, and bring my photography skills to the next level.
