Hi, my name is Cristiana and I'm from Rome.
I'd like to be chosen because animals are my passion, especially (Big) cats.
When I was a child I wanted to go to Africa and become involved in the photography specially about wildlife...but I lost my father and things had not gone so good...and at the end I became employed in a public office.
For many years it was like I was sleeping, forgetting my first love, but seven years ago I met my partner (my light!) and I started to come out from my lethargy: I finished my studies (Sociology with a degree thesis on Anthropology of Tourism) and I began to travel again all around the world.
Wwhen I've been to Africa first time, I said "BUT HOW I COULD NOT COMING HERE BEFORE?"
I've been there three times in three years but...it's never enough!
When I try to describe it I just think that is the Eden and there is no place where I feel so good like there.
What I see in my photos is the simple excellence of Nature...the look of these animals talk me about the innocence we have forgotten and the purity we have lost.
I had forgotten also that I wanted to be a photographer, but when I started to go to Africa I remembered also how much I dreamt to be there and catch those moments.
My partner told me that my photos were too much monothematic and maybe assumptive, but those are my preferred photos and I would have sent them also if you would have proposed another kind of travel!
