Moments
India | Wednesday, July 3, 2013 | 5 photos
Having travelled across India and few neighbouring countries during the last four years. I have realised that capturing moments through the lens of a camera is the best way to gather beautiful memories. I always try to capture emotions that can narrate a story and encapsulate their very existence in that moment. I firmly feel that capturing landscapes is a sure way to revisit them for many years and hence they form a major proportion of the photos I click. I am truly a starter in terms of photography skills and hence wish to learn every possible technique and finer nuances of this form of art. This experience shall hold me in good stead to take better pictures and hence facilitate the objective of re creating the hidden treasures of nature into photography exhibitions. I always present the snaps in exactly the way I would have clicked them. Not a firm believer in digital enhancements. The very logic of trying to get as many photos as possible in every trip is to ensure that I have enough memories to cherish and relive. I do believe that there are a lot more people out there, who may not be privileged to undertake such trips and these photos are the means through which they can see the unknown pastures. I have always believed that sharing real life experiences and knowledge is a sure way to create awareness and also spread the beauty that mother earth be holds for all of us. More than anybody else, if I am able to ensure that these pictures reach the younger population, help them visualise, understand and appreciate the world around them. I would consider my effort worthwhile. Because, the future lies in the palms of these toddlers.
