I suspect it's a Euphorbia. :)You can get all kinds here...sometimes even at Lowes!If it's succulent it's probably a Kniphofia.And I DID NOT make that up.The "K" is silent. :)

Sorry, it's Aeonium arboreum v. atropurpureum "Zwartkop" - comon name is Black Tree Aeonium - it's a member of the Crassulaceae family (family that includes the jade plant) - once they were thought to be in the Sansevieria family - I have bought these from Bob before......
