Just checking out how this journal works. And noting the fact that its 2 WEEKS TILL I GO!! I found a hostel for my first few days in Rio which looks cool, they do lots of hiking and climbing trips up the Sugarloaf mountain which I'm definitely up for. It looks similar to the Regent in Singers apart form the bars at the windoew, lack of Mercs t the front and no concierge standing by. I am assured that anywhere in Rio with bars at the windows is a safe place. Where's the logic in that I wonder.
