I'm a recent UC Berkeley journalism school graduate from Oakland, Calif., who spent summer 2012 vlogging from Sweden. I cover issues about health, people of color, women and girls, urban planning, immigration, and pop culture. I also have a degree in creative writing from San Francisco State.

Journalism aside, I co-founded Sisterful, an adventure social club that encourages Bay Area women of color to step outside of their comfort zone by trying new things, such as indoor rock climbing, kayaking, walkathons, attending the ballet, and enjoying tea parties--all things we accomplished in 2013.
