I am Spanish and Colombian. I hold a law degree and a Masters in International law from University Carlos III de Madrid. Following the completion of my degrees, I worked at United Nations. Before this period, I worked at the BBVA Group as an International Junior Lawyer in the field of microfinance.
Since one and half year ago I decided to become a freelance photographer. I am interested in creating documentary photography because is one of the simplest and most powerful tool which we have available to tell a story, to send a message or to raise awareness.
I believe I have the educational qualifications, the internal motivation and personality characteristics necessary to help Jason Edwards to get the work done. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are extremely important for an effective work. This fellowship will be very helpful not only to improve my work and get to know what is to be a professional photographer but also to experience what it’s like to be on-assignment with an important organization like National Geographic.
Thank you very much,
