My Photo scholarship 2010 entry
Philippines | Sunday, October 17, 2010 | 3 photos
Im really not much of an adventurer before but for the love of Photography I became interested of hiking and traveling. It took us about 3 hrs of trekking, rock and root climbing to reach the place. Its like a never ending trail of exhaustion; but in the end it was all worth it.
The Pictures were taken in Negros Occidental, Philippines. The place is called Tinagong Dagat which means "Hidden Sea". It is indeed hidden since we didn't see any water whatsoever, what we see is a soccer field of green grasses. To be honest i dont really care about the name why its called a Hidden Sea; I was busy staring at the beautiful view of the place just loving every minute of it. The 2nd time we came back i was surprise when i did see a lake covering half of the place. It was beautiful.
I graduated college on 2004 and ive been helping our family business which is a grocery and a department store. I am also investing in sugar trading for the past 3 years thats been my work.
I've been into sports lately; boxing, swimming, running and hiking. My interests are movies, music, technology.
I started into photography on November of 2009 which was almost a year from now and I've been loving it. My first ever camera was a Pentax K2000. A couple of weeks later I got myself a K200D and I've been taking pictures ever since. The shutter count of my camera is 24,889 and clicking.
I should be chosen because i have the passion to learn so i can improve my skills. I really love landscape and nature photography. I hope to learn how take every picture i took to be informative and well compose and not just meaningless snaps. My dream is to be able to work as a photographer in National Geographic.
