My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a 19 year old student currently studying in Melbourne, Australia at the Photography Studies College. I believe I should be chosen for this experience as I have a huge passion and drive for photography. I love Landscape and documentary photography but I'm passionate for the whole medium. Being a student I have found it hard to have the time and funds to travel especially so far away, when rent and the cost of living away from home is so high. I am originally from Tasmania having started out in photography shooting landscapes along the local coastline but generally I love being out making images any where interesting! I believe If i was given this opportunity I would strive to make it worth my while and i think it would be a very valuable experience in my photographic career, hopefully one day being able to travel and document professionally. I have chosen to document Robins Island, this is a small island not far from the coast of Tasmania, I found it had a unique story and being one of kind in that it is entirely a Wagyu beef cattle farm and the owners of the island have very unique landscape and farm land transporting cattle to and from the island by horse back at low tides.
