I started my professional life as a freelance reporter and photographer back in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro. I used to take pictures and write features for some top magazines and websites varying from concert reviews and one-to-one interviews with Heavy Metal bands. In 1987 I ventured into opening my own heavy metal magazine called Mosh, a very dear project of mine I’d harboured for a very long time, which lasted until 1990. Photography came back into my life in London in 2006 when I started collaborating with a website www.metalvox.com.br.   The magazines I worked for in different periods of time in Rio and London were: Rock Brigade, Metal Magazine and Road Crew Magazine.  I had the opportunity to cover concerts such as: Metallica, Whitesnake, Sepultura, Ratos de Porão, Dio, Megadeth and Nazareth. Then back in Brazil in February this year I lived in Curitiba until June where I was living-off photography again taking pictures from children, when I got an job proposition in Rio de Janeiro, taking up the restaurant in June. After four months of Restaurant Manager job, I came back to work as free lancer Photographer doing several jobs for restaurant web site and models, and bands, in and out stage.
