My name is Andrea Loria, I'm 27 and I'm born in Cagliari, Sardinia. I'm a trekking and hiking guide and a rock climber. I speak italian, english, spanish and french. 

I started taking pictures because I love travelling; learning and discovering new things, places and people was probably the only aim in my life and photography was the tool, a way to do it 365 days per year without having to stop for seasonal hard work only in order to collect enough money for the next trip.

I didn't feel like or wanted to be an artist. An artisan, maybe. I felt like an empty sponge, I didn't have anything to express by myself. I just wanted (perhaps needed) to celebrate the beauty I had around me. 

I don't know when it happend, but the borders between the "aim" and the "tool" faded away therefore I couldn't distinguish anymore which was which.

Now I feell like I really have potential but I need help to express it. As a photoghapher, I need exactly what I always avoided as a hiker: a path to follow.
