The Chronicles of an Ancient Astronaut

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Italy | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos

The camera gives you omnipotence, your power seems to be infinite, you are the Omnipotent of the moment. You analyse, you emphasize only observable, measurable. One is hoping that the place will confer with you, understand your motifs, play a part in your cautious arrangement of the vantage, deliver the superiority over the moment so that you, the hunter, will translate it into a image that is beyond passing time. Your legacy is granted. You liberate it. Your hardship is your friend. You, as photographer, need to make a survey of the place, your primary step is to uncover the flow of the energy. You, yourself, have to become unraveled. You will replicate what is in front of you. A self-reflection, a mirrored you. You tune into it, you listen. You count on all your experience, on all the good and bad in your life, all the music and all the cinematic you had let into it. You are calling upon recesses of your mind, then all is going into the image, all of your subconscious and conscious collecting of things. You conduct. You walk around looking for traps of light, you point your camera and yet you are incapable of defining if the moment will deliver. You are the hunter.
