Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded. Pushkar lake is the holiest lake in Indian mythology. An old pilgrim offering his prayers to the holy lake.

It is not difficult to see why camels are the most prized possession of every villager. No other animal can survive in the harsh desert conditions and be useful to the villagers. They use camels as transport, for milk, cheese, and now a source of income through tourism.

Pushkar - known for the largest animal trade fair in the world.
In most villages camels are the only mode of transport and source of milk. Most owners share a special bond with their animals. They are traded or sold only in dire financial circumstances.
