One year back I made this trip to Plulikat, a huge brackish lake about 100kms from my city.During our initial research we found that there are very few visual material available on the web about Pulikat lake. It was the first weekend trip after i got hold of my Creative VADO pocket camcorder and thus me and my friend Radhika decided to video document our trip.
Using my basic training in documentary film making, I
tried to shoot a good amount of footage during the trip.I had written a detailed report on the
planning and making of the movie in a blogpost here.
The light weight of the camera was always a problem in keeping it
steady. But i managed a decent result using the camera monopad i was carrying
for my DSLR.I had no spare battery, so during my return trip i could not
capture the footage of the beautiful Dutch cemetery at Pulikat. You

I would like to travel more, explore the world and create my own travel video site. I carry my Vado or
DSLR during my trips and create short 2-3 min videos. I have started writing a
