We are living in an era were dreams come second. First comes the bills, then the responsibilities, not to mention what is expected of you and to follow that what you are taught through society to expect of yourself. To be a dreamer is to grow a thick skin or live unhappily ever after. A bit over a year ago I quit my steady job as a University teacher after I realized that, even though I had everything I needed there was a hunger inside of me that would not go away. I had starved myself from life by falling into a routine pit. ¿Is this how you want to remember your life when your 50? ¿Are the interesting things you know and talk about going to be about someone else, or are they going to be things you experienced first hand? So I gave up the apartment, the car and over a dozen shoes to move to a tiny island of the coast of Honduras to learn more about marine life and sea creatures. I am a new found explorer thirsty for new adventures. Over the past decade I have been working on advertising production and wedding videos but I need guidance to find my way as a documentary film maker who can really create an impact through whatever I find important in life.
