My Kind Of Adventure

My entry draws from my experience on a five month exchange in Canada and trips to America; where I anticipated the snowfall, the buskers downtown, and the chill of the minus 22° weather.

I desire to travel, to experience. I am a world nomad, and this is my story I'm sharing with the world. I am Alexandrea, and this is my kind of adventure - my journey.

My ultimate goal is to work as a documentary filmmaker, photographer, or journalist. My journalism studies complement this, but I am still very much an amateur, with my filming experience to date being that of personal videos and footage. The scholarship would provide an opportunity to further develop my skills in a lively environment. I have never felt so passionate to study, learn, and experience with the setting as the sounds and the lights of the Brazil's 'Carnival'.

I feel greater to have travelled, to have an open passport; with each destination an imprint not only on a page, but myself.
