Bound for Oman

This Scholarship needs a person like me because I bring creativity, life experience and the willingness to work hard. I was born and raised in Colorado (USA); unhappy with the health care system, I moved to Sydney by myself to study Physiotherapy. Helping others is my passion in life and inspires me to further my knowledge and experience.

I am fascinated with photography and have discovered the value of patience, commitment and the importance of giving back to the community. I have a lot to learn about Oman and photography; I want to accurately portray my experiences and hope to encourage others to travel with purpose and passion. While in Oman, I hope to become familiar with new photography techniques, gain skills to connect with my subjects and learn how to communicate a feeling through my photos. I expect to acquire the ability to express the needs, emotions and beauty of Oman and its people through my photos. Ultimately, I will grow both personally and professionally with the experience of working alongside a professional photographer. My life experiences have helped me appreciate the value of my goals, and I look forward to continue reaching them in Oman.
