I am Michelle Rae Grima, a creature of thought and travel. I have always had a lust and adventure for travel and photography. I am inquisitive about the world and love to capture moments through my eyes. I push myself to learn how to get that better image, so viewers can experience the beauty I see.
So with these desires, I feel obtaining this chance to be mentored hands on would provide the experience and skills that matter to give a platform with my development. Gaining a direct access to this lifetime opportunity would help me with where I want to belong. The power of an image sometimes reaches further than we realise and with this guidance I want to accomplish this. I would thrive on this chance of being a global citizen and the opportunity to supply visual information to the world through this program.
I am a woman who is culturally sensitive and socially responsible, who is no stranger to long hours of demanding work. To receive a scholarship and be mentored by someone who is so passionate about his craft would be infectious and I have the desire to listen and learn from someone like this. With help, I want my images to move people and hopefully gain employment through this.
