    A pretty cool sunrise at Playa Maruata. Although I had to get up pretty early to see it... Views[696] This is Maruata beach - it´s the beach of a fishing village that I went to along the Michoacan coast. Like I mentioned in the blog there is so much coastline in mexico that it´s pretty easy to find deserted beaches with just the fishermen and the odd tourist (usually mexican) Views[1189] The slightly dilapidated streets in Patzcuaro Views[470] The slightly crumbling church in Patzcuaro Views[343] This is Lake Patzcauro which is famous for its ´day of the dead´celebrations on Nov 1st.     This was a dance-off in Morelia that I had the pleasure of witnessing - basically, there is a band and older couples take to the dance floor to practice their old skool dance moves Views[521] A rather nice plaza in Morleia. All it is lacking is a few chairs and a cafe for an afternoon beer... Views[378] The splendid colonial cathedral in Morelia - one thing I´ve learnt about Mexico is that they have an awful lot of colonial era cathedrals... Views[416] Nice little square in Morelia to pass a few hours eating an ice-cream or algo como asi Views[374] And more colonial buildings in Morelia - these ones are crumbling a little bit...     Colonial architecture in Morelia Views[1059] This is the railway station and tracks at Creel. There definitely aren´t queues to get on the train here. Views[360] And another picture of the waterfall - this time from the bottom. I know it´s just another waterfall... Views[363] This waterfall was quite cool around Creel. When you go down to the bottom the water is seriously cold Views[381] Apparently this church was built by the Spanish in the 18th century. Can´t exactly remember what year Views[350]
     
    The scenery around Creel is a littl different but nevertheless quite impressive Views[357] Another view of the cave that is actually someone´s home... Views[298] The Tarahumara people who live around the barranca del cobre apparently live in these caves. In exchange for a small donation you can have a wander around - was a bit wierd just strolling around someone´s house like that...
