My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am Hoa Phuong Doan. I just graduated from college last year, and right now I am working for a NGO called Samaritan’s Purse Vietnam. My parents divorced when I was very small, and I live with my mom. Since I was small, I have always loved taking pictures and drawing stuff. Being a photographer has always been my dream, but there are very few chances one can make a living from it in my country, Vietnam. I have tried to get as many opportunities to take pictures as possible. Besides, I am also in love with photos and pictures on the internet and magazines. By looking at a picture, I felt like I was actually there, I can see life through others’ glasses. I can even feel the photographer’s feelings in the picture, and I love it.
I found the information about Travel Photography Scholarship 2013 when it is already very close to the deadline for application. If I am granted this huge opportunity, I know that it will change my life, my career path, and even my perspective forever. It will make a difference for the rest of my life, and be an ultimate inspiration for me to boldly pursue the photography path which has always been in my heart.
