Hi there lovely, fellow human beings. My name is Alyssa Ho and I am 21 years old from Melbourne, Australia. I am currently in my third year of studying Bachelor of Arts: Media and Communications. I'm at a point in my life, as many of us are or come to be in, where I'm unsure of where exactly I want to be in the world. For so many years now, I've held onto my love of writing. For me, it's a beloved and unrelenting passion of mine because through what I term 'the power of words' I seek to inspire, motivate and empower anyone and everyone who reads my work. I know that through writing I can change someone's life, mood or perspective and that is beyond a blessing for me. To have people share with me that I've somehow made an impact or given them something they can relate to through my writing is an unforgettable compliment. In terms of my future, I know writing will definitely be a part of it but I'd love to never settle for one thing and instead constantly find myself learning and growing. I'm immensely interested in fashion and would therefore like to take a course on styling. I love the art of makeup so would too like to complete a course. And I am also interested in taking part in a graphic-design course. All of these dreams and desires I hope will allow me to set up my own business and find happiness in doing something I love. I know that travelling will contribute to me chasing my dreams and finding a sense of fulfilment and discovery for I don't believe in staying in the one place when the world is begging for us to explore its beauty and wonders. I'm still on the road to self-discovery and for me travelling is what I need more than anything to find my place in this big, wide world. I'm passionate about appreciating life which is what I do mainly through my writing but now I think it's time I enjoy and experience it through taking myself out of my comfort zone and hopefully travelling the world!
