Morning light on the Citadel: Once we arrived to Machu Picchu, everything was a blessing. What an overwhelming view!! From every angle the light and subject were fantastic. The most amazing light for my photos that day. About the shot: This is taken looking to the Wayna Picchu Mountain ( in quechua language: the young mountain). I really like the shape of the structure converging in direction to the mountain. Also the myst and the rest of the sacred mountains at the back, helped me a lot to compose this image.

Evening Stream at Urubamba Valley:
Part of my trip to Machu Picchu was a trekking for the Peruvian Jungle. I never thought i was going to find such beauty and actually enjoy the route to the citadel as much as i enjoyed machu picchu itself.
This image was taken without much effort, doing a short exposure to get the silky effect in the water with really low light conditions, and no filter on my lens. After that, the night was filled with the light of fireflies that appeared like floating light in the surrounding mountains. A special time i´ll never forget.

Surrounded by history:

Another shot of the citadel of Machu Picchu. This time i wanted a close up to the textures of the ancient walls, and a leading line to compose. I did this in order to drag the viewer eyes inside the frame and make people see as close as my eyes saw this scene.
Another impressive fact is the way the ancient incas built this place. Touching the history was another great aspect of visiting it.
