My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Bahrain | Monday, January 7, 2013 | 4 photos
At age of one. I left England for Kuwait, Kuwait to America, back to the Middle East (Bahrain this time) and now living in Australia. I have learnt to adapt to each individual culture and understand local traditions. Through language, food, clothes, traditions, both new and old, from the places I have visited and observed, they have shaped who I am today.
?People recognise I have a different accent. One that cannot ever be placed. They often question where I am from and I have great difficulty trying to explain ''where''.
?Photography was introduced at an early age. Fascinated with the power I held with a camera in hand. The ability to capture a moment in time forever for others to see. I believe photography is one of the most powerful tools/devices in the world. It can tell a story, manipulate, evoke and carry emotion, depending on how the image is captured.
There are numerous factors to take into account for every single frame and I want to explore/discover the best combinations possible. Just completing university and ready to embark on a career, I am passionate to reach the highest potential in photography, both for myself personally and for the viewers of my photographs.
