Always fascinated by art and immortalized beauty of all kinds, I made “See beauty everywhere” my life’s motto. In my opinion, photography is one of many ways of feeling it, showing it to others and making people happy (life is too short not to be). I’m a cheerful and restless person, studied German and Music and love travelling. I actually had no information about this scholarship and found it accidentally while searching for pictures of Oman. This country is my big travel dream so I took a chance. If I win the scholarship, I’ll be incredibly happy, not just because I’ll be in Oman, but because I find the whole project absolutely amazing. I share the idea Jason mentioned somewhere, that photography should not be about the wonders of Photoshop, and that’s why I really want to improve my skill in capturing images in the field. As currently both teacher and student, I’m willing to work hard and learn a lot. In my story, I decided to show you a place in my home country that I visit at least once a year and which is forever in my heart. I hope that one day I’ll have the opportunity not only to capture the beauty of other countries, but also to represent Slovakia at a professional level.
