We set up camp as the sun set, in a beautifully warm glow. This was the second time i'd returned to this spot in particular, the views here are incredible, as well as providing some shelter from the wind.

Last month, me and a good friend spent a few days backpacking along the Pembrokeshire coast national park. After a 10+ mile walk on our first day, we pitched our tents on St Davids head. This is the most westernly tip of the country, and is steaped in geological, and archeological significance.

Looking west from the cliff top as the sun was setting was spectacular. The sea looked like an ice field stretching for miles into the horizon, which was glowing a pale red reflecting the beautiful colours of the sky.
