NO RULES, Perpignan, France: A wall lining a medieval church is de-faced by members of the community with a hostile slogan they seem to live by.

PRAM BARK, Perpignan, France: An empty pram adds a ghostly and deserted post apocalyptic feeling to the already depressing streets. Capping off the sadness, we see stray dogs chained to polls, with no owners in site.

MOTHER HAS LEFT, Perpignan, France: An elderly lady minds a small child amongst the derelict and undoubtedly unhygienic streets. This was one of the only prams I saw with a child actually inside it. Because this community is so segregated from the mainstream, their lifestyle is viewed as 'unacceptable', and 'unsustainable' by French locals.
