My name is Aleks Woszczyna and I received a degree in Photography at Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada. Currently I am applying for Documentary Media to finish what I started and spend my life doing something I love: Travel and Documentaries.

I need this. This experience is something I would absolutely love to do. The experience in itself is unreal, but the passion I have to travel and document a new part of the world, is overwhelming for me.

I have just traveled Asia for the last year and a half, and what I have learned about a part of the world I never known much about, helped me realize that this is what I want to do. To put yourself in a new place, adapt, and absorb the culture, is the best way to to learn about the world.

The photos I am including in my application all take place in Asia. They were taken in Laos, Vietnam and Northern Thailand. They capture people in a candid environment in their happy, true beauty.

My love and passion to document turns into a giddy excitement. To be so lucky to capture these moments and share them with the world, is truly wonderful. I hope that they inspire, move and educate people.

To get this opportunity to travel and learn from such a great artist will be a fantastic opportunity for me.
