My story

Hi there,
First of all, this is an amazing initiative! So glad something like this has been put together!
What I'm about to write here, will probably go against the standard requirements... Why you ask, because travelling shouldn't be a set plan - it should just drive you to explore without any boundaries. Rules are meant to be broken... at least that's my take on travelling: just pick a city, and go discover something you've never seen before!
Ever since I could remember, I've always travelled with my parents. It all started in Poland when I was 6 years old, having to fly to the Netherlands - learning a new language and culture. It was an exciting time at a young age.
After those two years, my family packed up and moved to Toronto, Canada. That's when I finally felt 'right at home'. But over time, I was itching for more, so I started travelling alone. Uncle Visa became my best travel companion during those trips to Italy, France, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, China and Hong Kong. Life was great and fulfilling! And having my professional background in Art Direction, I love taking photos of everything. My digital FujiFilm camera goes everywhere with me! Here's my ongoing and growing photo gallery: http://alekvonfelkerzam.tumblr.com
So, as you can see, I have a true passion for travelling! It would be an honour joining your team of experts, and learning more about the world.
Thanks for reading my story... To be continued, somewhere ;)
Regards, Alek von Felkerzam
