I'm Aldrich Lim, a 4th year college student taking up a degree in Photography. I'm grew up in the City of Manila and spent most of my summer vacations in our province, Palawan. It is there where my love for nature and adventure grew. From those experiences, it shaped my interest and eventually got me into landscape photography and photojournalism.

My story is about a very popular tourist destination in the Philippines - Taal Lake. It is 53km south of Manila, tourist flock this place to see the beautiful volcano that can be found in the middle of the lake. It gets a lot praises from all visitors because of it's wonderful scenery, but there is something saddening about this wonderful place - the fact that its coastal environment is slowly dying. Here are photographs of the different scenes on the current state of the said lake.
