My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My love for photography started when I was a teenager and my Dad got Olympus C-770. It was a fancy thing to posses back in the day in Bulgaria, so I only used it with a special permission. Years passed and it turned out to be my camera...for a lot of time. I've always believed that it's not the camera that makes good photos but the photographer so I didn't need a new one. Apart from that, all the money I ever managed to save got spent for traveling.
I am now finishing my bachelor degree in graphic design but my craving for travels gets bigger. I figured photography is the only way to satisfy both my creative and adventurous needs so that'd be the perfect professional area to develop my skills in.
There is no particular reason why I exactly should be chosen. It would be the best photography experience ever but I believe there's a lot of good photographers out there that deserve it. Yet I would enjoy and appreciate it greatly and will give my all to improve my skills as an outdoor photographer.
To be honest, my passion for shooting is just as big as my excitement to visit Greenland, so both combined with being mentored by Jason Edwards must result in outstanding pictures.
