Hi, my name is Alaide and I'm from Mexico. I'm an architect and a teacher. Ever since I turned 19 I started working in order to pay one of my greatest passions: traveling. I haven't been able to travel outside of my country by myself yet because I think that for understanding and knowing other cultures first you have to know your own. And that's what I have been doing. Thanks to my career I have been able to move to other cities, live there and get to know that bit of mexican culture that was totally unknown for me. I am plnning to move to other country next year, and get to know its culture, hisory and customs; as well as to make friends.
When I was studying college I was used to forget my key to enter home. fo this reason I had to spend hours waiting for someone from my family to come back home. On those lonely hours mt only companions were my dogs. A beutiful Malamut, whose mane was Daisy, and an adorable Labrador named Canelo. One day, when I had forgotten once more my keys, I decided to take photos of my dogs while I waited for my parents. I started shooting pictures of the Malamut when the other dog arrived. He wanted to convince the Malamut "to be" with him, and here's what happened.
The reason that I think is the most important to be shosen from is that I consider that a photograph can tell you more than words, they can give you a complete idea of a situation by just looking at it, and I want to learn to take that kind of pictures. Besides, this experience will help me a lot for my CV.
