I'll never forget the day that changed my point of view about life. Back in March, I was attending "SXSW", one of the biggest conferences worldwide. The conference took place in Austin, Texas.
Moving from a session to another, I was walking in the street that leads to Hilton's hotel. A taxi driver stopped by asking if I need a drive. I replied saying: "No, thank you. I am stopping by the next hotel," and I smiled. He waved his hand, and moved on. Suddenly, he stopped and shouted: "Get in, I will give you a free ride just because you are smiling."
That moment changed my life and learned me the best lesson: Smiles are the new currency! They will not only buy you a free ride, but they will get you the best friends ever :)
