Arctic Travels

A polar journey in summer

In the expanse of the archipelago, Walrus' are often only seen tightly huddled together in a pack, barely raising a flipper or tusk. When they separate from the pack though they are a joy to watch. These 2 eventually came to us as the first slowly rolled down the embankment one after each other, yelping and flipping at each other to move or follow along, wiggling in the warm stones, until both were in the water and swimming our way.
