My name is Agnes Livinsgtone. I started to take pictures three years ago. I don't remember how the camera arrived in my hands. But I remember the pleasure to center the world between them.
I try to be very hard with myself: to do an attractive photo which also spreads an idea. The aestheticism catches the look while the message touches the mind. Sometime, I just want to show a contrast. In the end the audience always chooses his own message. I try to be honest too: not changing too much the picture, not creating another reality. I want to show the world, to do a resistance work through an artwork.
As I never learned photography, I try to speak a lot with photographers and I follow the work of a lot of them. I record the photos I like, which point of view is chosen, why, which depth of field,... to be able to transmit the same emotion. Then the substance is my own look, always through the eyes of the audience. You may understand why following a photographer would be an amazing experience…
